JOB DESCRIPTION: 

PROJECT SALES ASSOCIATES / MANAGERS

This role will be virtual and manage the planning and overseeing projects to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion and within budget. Project Sales Associates/managers plan and designate project resources, prepare budgets, monitor progress, and keep Lead Producer informed the entire way:

• Assigned projects in development to ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within the scope, and within budget

• Assist in the updating of budgets, production schedules, Day Out of Days, etc

• Assist in the development of marketing tools for specific projects (pitch decks, sizzle reels, etc)

• Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving Lead Producer and ensuring technical feasibility

• Assist in obtaining sales projections for each project

• Ensure resource availability and allocation

• Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress

• Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques

• Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques

• Report and escalate to management as needed

• Establish, manage and maintain relationships with the sales agents and Lead Producer

• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation by tracking project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals

• Develop spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps to document needs

• Perform other related duties as assigned

 

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in the entertainment section in financial planning & analysis, management consulting, investment banking or sales, etc

• Prior experience in Studio Operations, Physical Production, Post Production, VFX, or related production activities preferred

• Experience conducting quantitative and qualitative financial analysis

• Superior proficiency with Excel, Movie Magic Budget, and Scheduling

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
